on that is you are under medical supervision so I would be up front and ask the doctor about his opinion on the situation, sounds like he is a good doctor.
Also, you possed an illegal substance, if I gave you my pain meds and you got caught with them in your possesion it would be illegal. But if you had a perscription for that pain medication it is not illegal, so probation would not have a thing to do with the legality issues.

It is all about medical supervision which makes using a controlled substance legal by way of a perscription...

I agree with you. I will probably see how it goes for a while with the testing and all. Go back see the doc, take the presciption to my attny, And take it from there. It is too big of a chance to guess on.

possession for personal use is legal. Even without a script. Roids are Schedule F drugs........far away from coke.....lol

Nautica, I'd just ride the probation out and not risk a fuck up, it wouldn't be worth it with the judge saying what he did about the max coming next time. Pay off the fine at about the 3/4 mark of your probation and they might let you off early, worked for me. Then get to juicin. Till then, stockpile my man, stockpile.

I could have probably paid the fine off now. But I spread it out over the 2 years.

Can they reduce the probation time after the fine is paid off??? I thought if they gave you 2 years - you got 2 years.

Don't listen to the others who posted saying that if a doctor prescribed the steroids that it won't be a violation of probation. One of the conditions of your probation is that you stay off of AS. If you get a doctor to test you and you have low test levels, run it by your probation officer. While on probation, your probation officer is the closest thing to God, here on earth. He has the power over your liberty.

So my legal advice to you (and I don't think that I have ever steered you wrong in the past) is not to just go on anabolics without clearing it with your probation officer, first. If he says no, then your probation is only two years. It really could be much worse.

True, One thing I will say about this judge, even though, I thought the probation time was harsh, was that when she was lecturing me. She did not see it the same as other drugs. And stated that the reason for punishment was the fact that I did knowingly break the law and I knew when I did it that I was breaking the law, whether I agreed with it or not and I went about it the wrong way (insinuating, I should have used a doc in the first place).

I got a doc that will do it. I have had test run and he recommends HRT. My only question is. Can I do this and not break probation.

This is the way I look at it. If someone is on probation for possesion of Hydrocondone and they go to the doc for a back ache and get a script. Is this breaking probation or not???

That is the question. And I have no clue. Thanks for keeping us updated on your situation, and let us know if you find the answer to that question. I would lean to think that a legal prescription is a legal prescription...but this country's drug laws are corrupt and fucked so who knows. Good luck bro.

They can shorten your probation, upon the recommendation of your probation officer. Even if they don't shorten the probation period, the officer can decide to drug test you less frequently or not at all. And he can make it where you only report by phone or by a questionairre.
