There's no way to know if they caught it.
Dunno for that little amount, but anything could happen. I know that you may get a seizure letter from customs or they may attempt a controlled delivery. If you get the letter is no biggie. If you get the controlled delivery, you can't tell whether is a setup or not. Most of the time, the driver/delivery guy is an undercover cop, so even if you scan the area for suspiscious activity you'll have no clue, since you have no idea who the UPS driver is or who o what is inside of his truck.
This what my friend Mr. Idiot did in the very same situation:
He left a note at his door saying "UPS: please leave package at the door". He Waited for the delivery guy to leave the package, and once the package was left at his door he took a very very (i mean very) good look at the package for signs of tampering. If looks good, he wrote on it "not at this address". However he Didn't open it yet. Waited for at least 2 or 3 days, then he took his package for a car ride in the middle of the night or at least whenever was easier for him to detect if he was being followed. He said he had his attorney's phone number handy just in case. I still wander in case of what?
He Opened the package as he was driving, then kept driving for 10 more mins and then went home. The lucky S.O.B never got busted. Next day he was cool and laughing, he told me that next time he was going to use the "common sense".
Anyway, just don't forget that the procedure described above is what my friend Mr. Idiot did. It's up to you to give it a try.
Fuck i can't believe i'm doing this!!!!
Ohh I assume that you know what to do if the package shows signs of tampering or they want you to go to the UPS store to claim your packaged. But if you still don't know, use Mr. Idiot's common sense. (whatever that's suppose to mena)
