Ok, last May I bought a Playstation 2. I figured that I would get my money's worth out of the DVD player because I watch maybe 1-2 DVD's a week. And I purchased some games because they looked really good. Well about a week after I bought the stupid thing, some of my DVD's were skipping. I would get this message that the player was "unable to read disk" and it would stop. I knew it wasn't my dvd's because they were brand new and I tried them out on other players and they worked fine.
Luckily I bought the performance plan for it. So I sent it in, and I recieved my reimbursement check for 334 bucks. Now, I don't have to buy a PS2, I can apply it to anything that I want. So now, I have over 50 DVD's and no DVD player. How much should a regular DVD player cost me? What brands should I look for? What brands should I stay away from? Thanks for the input. Iron
