sending over seas

First time dealing with a source overseas so i dont want to fuck this up.

I have to write down what contents are in the envelope and what is the value in US dollar for customs.

Do I actually want to write on it the value is $200????
or dont mention it and say its a b-day card???

Are you just sending money? or gear? If it's money just say it's a card...shouldn't be a problem...or you can wire it through WU or moneygram if your source uses that option.

Where are you sending it to? In my opinion, getting gear from Europe is risky. Everything I've ordered from Europe has been seized. I have no problems getting anything in from Mexico though. Thailand is safe also.

I'm assuming you're sending cash so just declare it as documents and put the value anywhere from $1-$5.. doesn't really matter. If you use FedEx or UPS and you tell them its documents you don't even have to declare the value. Make sure your envelope is as thin as possible.. that way it will not attract any attention by customs.

Damn, I wonder what central post office you get your mail through? Mexico gets through but not Europe??

Anyhow, just send Global Priority Mail with USPS, they don't ask questions what's in it.
