we didnt end on bad terms, but it wasnt good.

do what I do with cards - send a card that has NOTHING to do withthe occasion. a Kwanzaa card is always a hit, or a hope you get well soon card or even a happy secretary's day card.

Now see muscle you're learning very quickly the art of the witty reply. However, there is one thing you failed to notice within this thread. In the title, patsfan (AKA - I jerk off to Tom Brady before bedtime), clearly stated it was his ex-g/f. Had patsfan stated simply "my ex" or something similar without hinting toward gender, then your above statement would have been wittier and funnier.

This is a favorite of mine also. Although I have never been friends with any of my exs...they all seem to think I'm a prick for one reason or another...huh...go figure.

I can't imagine sending an ex a birthday card - I can think of one who's now wife would probably torch my car.

I can't even speak to me my old male friends now that they are married - a card might put them in the dog house for weeks.

I agree with that but I don't agree with the birthday card thing.

To give your ex girlfriend a birthday card is a nice gesture but her current beau or husband might not appreciate the sentiment from you to her.

To each his own though.

I sent an ex a congrats card when she got married. Even wrote a nice note too...just to remind her that things were ok between us...

and to remind her that I was a nice guy.....and not the twit she was married to who lost his job and smacked her upside the head when he failed a law enforcement entrance exam.

You can be nice and rub a little salt in their wounds at the same time!
 
i like sending the ex anonymous postcards from exotic places with a few random comments enclosed, something juicey for the postman to read. i really wish that id kept some of the more personal photos rather than burning them, they'd have made perfect postcards.......am i bitter? yes......is it childish? absolutely.....do i give a flying monkey's after she ripped my heart out? no

HELL, NO!

Only way I'd send a card is if I was still tapping her occasionally, or if we remained great friends that talked on a weekly basis at least.
