funny thing is over population isnt a issue in the western world,only in those third world countries, in canada and the united states we are constantly letting people immigrate to make up for the lack of reproduction happening here

Europe has a declining population - for ex Italy now has a negative growth rate. Scandinavian countries are promoting live-in vs married relationships (probably mostly due to their crazy tax structure). And the Islamic population of traditionally European countries is increasing.

But aside from the mix of people, it would be nice if just Natural Selection (i.e. see the Darwin Awards) took care of things. But some countries like China & India are already trying to deal w/ their population explosions.

there is no such thing as overpopulation. It's sheer mythology.

Nature will always moderate population; we are incapable of stepping outside of those boundaries.

Few hundred years later, we have a few more billion, and majority of these people lead pretty safe, livable lives.

Well that depends on what you consider a crappy live. For example you can say that a redneck has a crappy live. However, when a simple hurricane takes out simple things like electricity, ice, tv and processed food from one of those cute successful city executives, is the end of the world. And thats what we all ae creating. Every day getting more and more far from mother nature. Everybody wants to live. Nobody let natural selection do his job. When you take 10 wild tigers and put them all in a row, they all look the same. Strong, proportiones, healthy. When you take 10 humans and put them in a row, is disgusting. Some with broken bones, other fat, other skinny, a dwarf, a cancer survivor, what in the hell is that kind of entity? Mother nature eventually WILL DO his job. But not smoothly like always does. Will do it once and for all to finish this cancer. She wants to survive too.
