I'm trying it now for shits and giggles.... been doing 10mg/ed as instructed for almost a month now... haven't noticed anything other than a kind of "fog" for a few hours after each dose. I even upped the dose to 20mg the other day.... then 30 yesterday and today just for kicks... just more fog. I've always loved AG, but this, so far, has done nothing as advertised.

What is it supposed to do? My understanding is that selegiline lowers prolactin much like bromocriptine or dostinex does. If that is all you are relying on for physique changes I'd pack it in - I don't think theory panned out so well on that one.

It's supposed to help with depression too, but it didn't do anything for me.

Selegeline is a Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor that targets dopamine. I have blood work showing that it does raise Test when taken @10mg per day. The problem (for me) was that it caused a sharp increase in E2 (Estradiol). So, I got off of it.

Selegeline has a very short half life. While I was on it (dr supervised), best results were seen by taking it 3x per day.

It sounds like a wonder drug if you read this:

Sounds like it could be useful post-cycle, provided estradiol can be combated and doesn't become an issue.

what i took was effective at no more than 1-2mg/day. these dosages req'd with these research supplies really makes me wonder wtf

yep healthy dopamine drives testosterone and healthy testosterone drives dopamine. however too much androgen can sometimes result in a prolactin build-up, rebound, and/or counter-defense. its a delicate balance. certainly an area not to be neglected for PCT.

I agree with some of the comments so far... I've taken selegiline on and off for about a year now, most often during PCT. I took it for 1) recovery from cycle; 2) reduction of prolactin; 3) neuroprotective benefits. I also felt "foggy" when taking it... and I'm also pretty sure it raised my E2 levels, though not sure it did much for my natural test levels. Definitely a good idea to take an AI at the same. Not sure I would consider this a wonder drug, as it's been touted. Probably won't take it again.
