Schwarzenegger: No Regrets About Steroids
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has acknowledged using steroids during his years as a champion body builder, said he doesn't regret using the performance-enhancing drugs.

In an interview to be broadcast Sunday, Schwarzenegger told ABC's George Stephanopoulos, "I have no regrets about it, because at that time, it was something new that came on the market, and we went to the doctor and did it under doctors' supervision."

Schwarzenegger has acknowledged taking steroids, but pointed out that they were legal at the time.

"We were experimenting with it. It was a new thing. So you can't roll the clock back and say, 'Now I would change my mind on this,'" he said, according to an excerpt posted on abcnews.com.

The former seven-time Mr. Olympia said he would not encourage drug use because it sent the wrong message to children. But he said he had no problem with athletes taking nutritional supplements and other legal substances to improve their performance.

Arnold "experimenting" my Ass. He took more drugs than me, you, and all the rest of the Bros put together and his physique was pure perfection. He knew exactly what he was doing and exactly what he was taking. He had plenty of professional medical advice all his career. At least he never had a GH gut, but you can bet your life that if he had access to GH back then, he'd have taken that by the bucket load too.

Yay, a politician that doesn't think all supplements are evil:)

He's got a good point there... they were legal, so why should he not have been able to take them? And I'm glad he's not apologetic about it either. If anybody blasts him for that I'd love to kick their asses.

Let's see if George asks him about his views on the president's war on steroids;if so, what his response would be and how Bush takes it.

What do you expect him to say? Expect him to sell out and rally against AAS now that he's a politician......he's got balls, I don't think he'll do that.

He's his own man.

Hoes, Clothes, Sustanon Flows.........what an Arnold knows...

I would love to see them change the rule so arnold could be president. That would be a true Underdog story, i mean the man has already accomplished so much, but to become president would be incredible. And maybe he would take a little heat off the AAS situation.
