Just because he does not encourage people to take steroids, does not mean he would care if they did so responsibly. If something is legal, then why should one not do it? Certainly, there are ethically grey issues that might be legal, but steroids don't have much to do with ethics (in bodybuilding at least). It's a known fact that pretty much every bodybuilder since the 80s has been using steroids, and he's not going to deny that.

I would not ENCOURAGE a person just starting to train to use creatine, even though I use it. But when that person chooses to take it nonetheless, I don't really care. It's not my business. Just because I don't encourage it, does not mean I stand against it.

I think that he is just trying to cover his own ass, if he was not the governor then he would not say he was experimenting. I think that he still didn't let any of us down. He does not look down on them and probaly used them to get HUGE for t3. IMO. I respect him and what he has done with his life. I just wish I had his genetics. He has to do what he has to do. Of course he can't encouge them, they are illegal. But he did not dog them either.
