school-physiology,nutritionist,dietician etc

Growing up i always knew i liked muscle and sports. I was on the track team, basketball etc. Even once when i was 16 about 7 years ago my bro and i did a run job at a health store stealing 4 "cybergenics total bodybuilding kit and video" they were selling it $150 bucks each! I was an eager kid to look huge and until to this day i find myself reading and looking on the net for health related issues. Since this is my hobby and interest what courses are there in school i can consider? I know i dont have the brains to be a physiologist but something related. Does anyone have any ideas?????

Don't ever sell yourself short. If its something you're genuinely interested and you love it, why not? Don't be afraid to bust your ass for something you really want. I still believe that you should work hard and dedicate yourself 100% to achieving your goal. This goes for bodybuilding, sports, and definitely careers. Why would you say that you're not smart enough? How do you know? School gets alot more interesting in college, you may actually like it.
To somewhat answer your question: There's alot of choices in the health field - sports medicine, dietetics, exercise science (there's about 100 different names for this), physical therapy.
On a final note, you're probably gonna change your mind a thousand times so do your research and try to find something you really like.

thanks for the reply freakshow, and for the kind words, i just remember in high school 5 years ago was something i didnt like, i wish now i done better ( i think everyone says this). I havent gone to college after high school simply because i didnt know what i wanted and im glad. Over the past 5 years ive had so many different career goals, but it was all based on money. It finally hit me that i wanted to be in the health and fitness field and i dont care about the pay as long as my interest gets fullfilled, but im still waiting on THAT ONE category in the field to jump out at me.

Welcome to the friggin club. I'm in it now and I still don't know. You may want to check out things like physical or occupational therapy. they make a decent living and yet you have a direct impact on people's lives. Of course, this is more directed at coming back after an accident/injury rather than improving performance.
To be honest, I don't know if i'll be in it much longer. I know you say money doesn't matter, but when you see that its hard to support yourself on that income alone you may change your outlook. Hope you live in a good state, it helps. Good luck, boss!

I graduated a year ago, chief. Got a b.s. in what my school calls "health promotion and rehabilitation." it has a exercise phys. component and a cardiac rehab component. I choose to go corporate and do personal training. It has its moments but rarely do people appreciate you, listen to your advice, or work hard when you ask them too. Then, it becomes your fault when their fat ass can't fit back into those jeans from high school. During late fall, the money was good. Now, in august, money is shit! Price you pay I guess.
