Saw United 93

First, its very intense. Once the movie starts there is no break in the pacing and the whole feel is almost like a documentary, which was very effective. For a second you almost think the flight is going to make it, which makes the intensity go through the roof. The whole cast were unknown actors also, which added to the realism. Excellent film top to bottom, tight, frenetically paced, and gritty. But beware, you will cry, or want to beat the living shit out of someone, or both.

I know a couple people that survived the world trade center. Don't know if they will see it. Have heard others say "I know how it ends and it is sad, why see it?" Well, you watched saving private Ryan, and the end SUCKED. so, see it.

Another thing was "The war on terror is still on. Why see a movie regarding this that ends so bad?" Well, Audy Murphy won his medal of honor and made a movie during the war. Yeah, it was a great ending, but people watched it in the middle of the war. People need to see it and be reminded that 1) WE were attacked, same as Pearl Harbor, but on the main land. 2) Brave Americans fought back and lost their lives to try to make it right. I'll cry my eyes out, but I will watch it.

and superdave, thanks for the heads up.

I broke out in a sweat during Blackhawk Down...
My GF said I was shaking through parts of it.

I'm gonna pass on 93 but, I have the utmost respect for what I think those brave souls faced.

Those emotions run deep.

I saw it

I was on edge the whole time for some reason, I was sweating and drinking my water frantically.

I pretty much wanted to kill arabs after that movie too.

the guy who directed it used to produce documenteries, so thats probably why it seems like a documentary, which it is in a way. Supposably the victims families helped with the movie a little, to portray the ones who died. 10% of the opening weekend's profits went to charity or to the victims family ( or something) . id like to see it.
