Saw Quadsweep guest pose on Sat!

Right on, especially in a case like his where it was due to injury. The bad thing is now, people like me will have to compete against him & that is the difference of night & day. If he's doing the contest I think he is to requal, then it's the one that he also wants me to do for a warm up for my target contest 3 weeks later. If that's the case I sure as hell hope I don't land in his weight class which is very possible because of my height. He'll make me look like a twig. :(

"Like a twig?" Naaah, don't be so hard on yourself man. You'll at least look like a stick! He, he. You'll be fine bro. Kick some ass!

I'm currently around 235lbs @ 6'5" aprox 10%BF have been off cycle for 2 months. I'm hoping to come in around 235-240 & shredded. In Apr I leaned out to around 7% at 232.

Bro, take it from another tall guy (not as tall as you though - 6'2) who competed numerous times, from what you've described, you won't come in at 235-240. Getting to the condition you need & dropping the water, there's just no way. You'll do well to come in in the low 220s and you may come in less. Remember, though, its about how you look. If your in great shape and are complete with good symettry, doing a first level show you'll do fine at that weight.

Being a tall dude sucks on stage, sucks. 5'10 is perfect, anything taller is a disadvantage. As you get over 6 feet, it becomes a real disadvantage. In life, I'm happy just where I am, wouldn't want to be taller or shorter. On stage, it sucked. Ok, I'm rambling on again. Sorry. Point is: you'll do fine, make sure you retain as much mass as possible and get in really good shape. But don't let the weight thing get in your head, cause you'll come in lower than that.

Yup supertech looks solid...I saw pictures of him when he dieted down...Quadsweep looks alright I quess...LMAO...for a short guy...:)

Thanx stillgoing, that's pretty much what quad is trying to get in my head also. It's just damn hard to not want to be freaky big.

BTW This was me in Apr at 232

You look good bro. You were quite vascular for 7%. Thats good. Looks like your chest & hams & delts are your good strong points. Arms, back width, calves and teardrops should be focus. The back width and calves are tall mans disease bro, I've got it to. Work hard on weak points, gain a little more size all over, then get shredded. I bet you'll be freaky vascular at that point. Hell, you had striations starting to come in on your quads in that pic. At 7%, thats good. Good training & good luck.

Pain in the ass. IMO once you qualify, you should be qualified for ever or atleast for a long time like 5yrs or so. Give the less experienced guys more chance to win State level shows. I know Quad agrees with me on this.

I absolutly do. They did move it up from 2 to 3 years but did not grandfather anyone. I do not wnat to do the Battle but I have no choice. The part that pisses me off is having to abuse mysefl with another diet and contest drug cycle.
