His agent has talked to the team...no visit is scheduled at this point.

What do you guys think? Could it (or should it) happen?

Good pickup for KC, especially with Vonnie Holliday on the same line. They still need some more legitimate offense IMO.
 
Thats funny KC needs more offense. I hate the chiefs but the last thing they need to spend money on is offense. Have you ever watched football before?

That's kinda what I'm thinking...would just hope that his presence wouldn't be detrimental to morale/team chemistry.
 
Hell he'd create chemistry for the defense. That unit sucked last year.
 
We.....um...I mean, the Bengals offered Sapp a 4yr/16M deal just the other day. No word back on it yet though. They really need pass rushers in a bad way. Dillon was talking shit in the papers again yesterday too. He's dying to be a Raider. I wish they'd just let him go.

well if they don't pay a lot for him, then it's a good move. but if they they shelled out a bunch of cash, that's a mistake. I think they need some run stoppers and/or some speed with the linebackers.
 
WOW! He'll hopefully be able to improve an already improving team. now they might have that winning swagger. To bad the bengals are making a mistake my not starting Kitna this year (could be wrong about that)

i agree with you, kitna played awesome last year, i think carson palmer will be average at best. they are making a mistake cuz kitna deserves to be a starter elsewhere...peace

It would be super if they could get Sapp to sign. It's just alot of talk going on right now though. I hope they can get it done. Thank God Mike Brown is staying out of things now & letting Marvin Lewis take it over. He should have done that a long time ago. Kitna was saying a few weeks ago that he wouldn't mind playing for San Diego but I never heard anything more after that. Don't know if that's still being pursued or not. They've still got Shane Matthews so if Kitna bolts they''ve still got an experienced backup at QB.
 
Well...looks like nothing's final yet anywhere. I just checked his site, and he's got 6 potential teams on there...Saints, Bengals, Bucs, Ravens, Giants, and...Chiefs.

No news anywhere I can find, although the Bengals seem really optimistic.
 
i never thought about kitna to san diego, that would be a great move for them...ill tell you why...they just let boston go...here i was i think they will do (since i am a giants fan i may be a bit biased)....rumor has it that the giants have expressed the msot interest in Eli Manning. So i believe that the giants may trade pics with san diego...then they will pick up fitzgerald or mike williams. then they would have an experienced QB and a nasty recieved who isnt a headcase. If not i think the giants may be looking at Rothliberger (sp?). I dont think that they will take Gallery for some reason...peace
