Do you think it is right to teach kids about Santa ? I think it is a big lie..... Kids should know that the presents come from their parents. (teach them the value of a dollar also) they would know that the parents spent their hard earned money on the gifts, not some fat guy that came down the chimney and gave them to all the kids !!!

then they would realize that spending time with their loved ones is more important then all this gift giving nonsense

Uh no...she is a child...they need to have happy memories...why not let them believe???
Is it wrong for children to believe in God?? some people argue that there isn't one...that does not keep some of us from talking to our children about Him. Or teaching them how to have faith.
Santa is just fun. Are kids not allowed to have fun these days??? I do not see the harm in it.
i do agree, that they need to be taught about the family togetherness....which is what in my family we try to make it about. Not the presents and treats and stuff. However, what is wrong with it? It gets them to bed early that night...lol...it is fun for them to make wishlists...and just the word santa brings merryment....(and a good threat for them to be good )

i dont' know..just my opinion..and i have had like not many hours of sleep in the last few days...lol
