I was totally fine with him and stuff 'till that Penrose guy took things way too far.

BTW, Penrose's new book is godly. Although I'm biased because I prefer his approach to mathematics and his siding with the need for a geometrical basis for a correct quantum theory of gravity, I still think it's one of the best science books of the decade.
