Is this stuff any good ? The sales pitch on the box kind of reminds me of the whole colostrum thing.

What box?

It's not something invented by a company, its a naturally occuring compound that has been my hoil grail for years. It's the ONLY thing that completely rid me of carpel tunnel syndrome and joint aches.

I saw some in health food store ( forgot the name brand) but the box listed several good effects it was supposed to give. Just kind of looked like a snake oil list. Good to know that it is actually a good supplement & that it helped you, thanks for the reply.

SAMe (short for S-Adenosyl Methionine). Clinical evidence has shown some promise for treating, amongst other things, depression and arthritis. However, it also appears to increase the risks of heart disease. In brief, results are inconclusive....more research remains.

Another fairly new supplement that has shown incredible promise in treating many pathologies is Immunocal. It stems from over 20 years of research at world-renowned McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

You can buy it here in US @ Wal-mart now. My girlfriend just started taking it about 2 weeks ago. I'll let you know how it goes for her prettylittlepest.

It's illegal in Canada, but I order from the U.S. all the time and it gets past customs most of the time. Sometimes they open the package, but if its for personaly use, they let it through.

I've taken SAMe for mild depression and it definitely helps to keep me from spiraling further into depression and face therapy. From what I understand it's important to not buy it in a bottle and to buy in the box of individually sealed pills. The pills should also be enteric coated.

SAMe has also helped with joint pain in my knee. I used to take Glucosamine and Chondroitin, which alleviated all pain. I ran out of G&C when I started taking SAMe and realized I don't need to buy another supplement.
