MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- A man believed to be the stepson of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Miami on a visa violation, according to an Immigration and Naturalization Service source.

Mohammed Saffi was interviewed at length by the Florida joint terrorism task force, made up of the FBI and the INS, as well as state and local law enforcement authorities. Late Wednesday he was transferred to the Krome Detention Center in Miami.

Seen during the transfer, Saffi was wearing a dark blue short-sleeve polo shirt, khaki shorts, white socks and dark sneakers, and was carrying a gym bag.

According to the INS source, Saffi entered the country legally, under a visa waiver program, to attend an aviation course but was arrested on a visa violation.

1) They are not 100% sure that it is him. IF he is related to Saddam, it is from an affair he had in 1980 with some slut.

2) If his intentions here in the U.S were honorable, why would he lie about his purpose of visit when he first arrived? Also, why would he claim to be a tourist and disregard getting a student visa, something which is mandatory for taking aviation lessons?

3) Why fly all the way to America to take flying lessons (from a flight school that had been used by more than one 9/11 hijacker) when there are programs offered in New Zealand, where he is from?
