I have an idea that will keep him from touching your car. Take an extension cord and cut the end off. Put the exposed end on your car somewhere like on the axles. plug it in and cover the cord with leaves or something, when he goes to grab the hood it will blast his ass. I'm not sure how legal it is, but if you wait for him to do it, you can pull the cord inside and its your word against his. Or go buy a dog that is already protection trained and let it tear him up.
