Hey RyanH, remember Hitler's solution on GAYS? I only wish you could have been there to be a part of that moment in history.

You know some times you come of as a good thinking citizen, at other times you are just plain stupid. If you really think the government is the solution then why don't you run for office?

You could get your 15 minutes in the limelight of fame and then your gone, politically speaking of course.

Get real dude, you can't trust the system, and you as a lawyer wanting to practice law should know it.

No one I know thinks life is fair. The idea of fairness is gone with the first grade class you grew up in.

I haven't ruled out the possibility of running for elective office someday, but only at the local level. I am currently working in an internship where politics plays a role as well. Although, for confidentiality reasons I will not reveal where at.

I have worked on various democratic campaigns, and I'm certainly interested in helping people realize what the great Franklin Delano Roosevelt and The honorable Reverand Martin Luther King reminded us ever so often: GOVERNMENT CAN DO GREAT THINGS. IT HAS BEFORE AND WILL CONTINUE TO. DO SO.

It does take a village, it takes community, it takes all of us.....to get to where we need to be.

IF we deregulate the environment, social security, and business---then we'll have an unfair, unjust, opportunistic, predatorial society more so than we have today. In short, we'll have more homeless on the street, and the elderly living in squalor.

Further, I'll never get lost. I'M HERE TO STAY. And, as always, no regrets, not now, not ever......

We all have a great deal of work to do before we die. And, I---well, I"m just getting STARTED.....You can sit on the sidelines as you seem to be doing and watch the trains go by, or you can read, work, learn, and somehow make a difference, if not to all of society, at least to a small part of it.........

Its your choice: a difference or nothingness.

We both know which is more meaningful......

And I care? I've lost a great deal of sleep at night b/c you and some others don't like me.

You know Ryanh, I was young once too and I'll admit I too was idealistic. But I am 45 now and the world really hasn't changed one damn bit. I remember protesting in the streets when there was a war in a hell hole called Viet Nam, which was certainly before your time. I saw my friends coming back from that war all shot to hell, crippled, or dead. That war was fought to free the gooks from the gooks. It didn't work, and neither will your liberal politics.

You see freedom isn't something you can give to another human being, they have to take it back from a repressive government. God gives us freedom and the politicians take it away. You can't give me one damn thing I don't already have, except a STD which I can assure you ain't going to happen. Some day you'll realise that being young and dumb and right out of college doesn't make you wise, just inexperienced. You have many years to yet get a real education boy...Some day you may yet grow up and become a man, from my perspective your not even close....

41 and I agree, being young and idealistic is just part of the deal.

Patience is the one thing that getting older permeates, there is no instant gratification just a satisfaction that you live your life well, provide for your family, and you always do the best you can. There are no shortcuts and many of the intitutions you used to hold dear are realized as facades.

Life is real and unfair you just learn to deal with it, reference my signature....

I like to think of the saying"if you are not liberal at 20, you have no heart, if you still a liberal at 35, then you have no brain"

Why do I think this post won't be here long? RyanH will kill it for sure. I will then come down on him sooooo hard with George, it will have to have some impact on him as mod. I hope it will, this kid is too young to know what the world is really like and has little to offer in the way of good advice. Thats what a mod is supposed to do offer sound advice, right? And offer a moderate opinion instead of stirring it up.
