Why is it that conservatives are the best hypocrites?

"There's nothing good about drug use. We know it. It destroys individuals. It destroys families. Drug use destroys societies. Drug use, some might say, is destroying this country. And we have laws against selling drugs, pushing drugs, using drugs, importing drugs. And the laws are good because we know what happens to people in societies and neighborhoods which become consumed by them. And so if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up."

- Rush "the Oxycontinmoron" Limbaugh, on his radio show, Oct. 5, 1995. Oh, and if the spirit should move you, go to www.prayforrush.com and take a vow to pray and fast for Rush Limbaugh's wellness.

LOL bump it up.

maybe he will change his tune now that he has dealt with addiction first hand.. but most likely he will become even worse.

that sucks, i cant stand people like that. thats how o'rielly thinks. they both dont have the ability to understand drug use and addiction.

He's not violating the law. He has a prescription for tinnitis. Whether he's abusing that prescription is another matter...

Guess they should throw all people that use drugs in jail, right?

Oh wait...

I just want him thrown in jail for being a hypocrite. My stance on durgs is very Lazier faire to say the most.

You are wrong. He procured the pain killer illegally to feed his habit.

Please try to be informed about an issue before posting.

Now, now, before you get imperial on me...

That is what was reported on one of the news radio stations I listen to.

Front page of CNN.com

http://www.cnn.com/2003/SHOWBIZ/10/10/rush.limbaugh/index.html

Law enforcement sources said last week that Limbaugh's name had come up during an investigation into a black market drug ring in Palm Beach County, Florida. The sources said that authorities were looking into the illegal sale of the prescription drugs OxyContin and hydrocodone.
Limbaugh, who has a residence in Palm Beach County, was named by sources as a possible buyer. He was not the focus of the investigation, according to the sources.

yeah thats HIS story, that he is addicted to prescription pain killers

but if he does'nt have a script they're street drugs

2Thick -- you're absolutely right from what I can tell. I just caught a snippet on the way home and it must have been inaccurate (wouldn't be the first time news has been reported incorrectly).

Perhaps a bit of self-fulfilling prophecy?

He's going to use the Kobe Bryant defense. He's a national treasure. He can do so much with all of his money. He can help change the world. Besides, look who is accusing him, his maid. You know what they say about those gold diggers, looking for their 15 minutes of fame. ;) ;)

But seriously, he will never serve a day in jail. He will blame his doctor, and everyone else but himself.

At least he was right about drugs destroying people.

Why do you think he lost his hearing? It is well-known that a side effect of pain killer abuse is hearing loss.

thats interesting, ive never known that.

i did see him at a chiefs game once. he got booed.

You know what i just noticed. I tend to identify people with their avatars. o if you use someone else's avatar you can actually trick people into believing that you are them (at least for a while).

ive scored many a chick off of elite using this very method.

why do you have e grey dot in you avatar

twins?

..

rush claims that he does not own, nor would he ever wear a pair of jeans. he will probably get a slap on the wrist, but how would he look in an orange jumpsuit? if the case does go to trial and is convicted, the judge should send him to eagles training camp next year. make him play linebacker for a few series.

whut that fuck?? I'm too high for you mofos to fuck with you avatars

LOL LOL LOL LOL holly shit!

I was thinking, when did I put flags in my signature???

If Rush and O'Reilly used the same mentality they used for drugs, they would advocate the removal of the 2nd Amendment, for "guns kill" and the outlawing of cars, for "cars kill". They claim to be big individualists, yet fall for this victim mentality in the case of drug use.

Rush should serve time in prison if he is found to have purchased drugs illegally, not because I agree with the idea of this being a crime, but because he advocated this against others.
