Running parachute...

Anyone ever train with a running parachute? If so how were your results. I plan on using it to help with acceleration.

Thanks for the input and your time.

I've used something like it. Same idea, but it has handles for someone to hold behind you. Seems to work really good. I would love to have one!

As stupid as it sounds I am adapting my training to work on my explosiveness for flag football. I am in medical school playing intramural sports is about my last bastion of athletic competition. I'll be doing research all summer but will have plenty of time to train pretty hardcore.

On top of the weightlifting and dieting, I want to work in a nice bit of sprint work. The goal is to work on getting my top speed back where it was and improving my acceleration.

Wow....parachutes!!!

Sadly enough the only time I can ever remember using them was in elementary school, gym. If you don't actually have a parachute, you could drag some sled. SLED at EliteFTS

Something tells me though you do have a parachute...Been jumping out of planes? :)

At times I wish I could jump out of a plane instead of studying all the time for school. I looked into buying a parachute just for sprinting and it would cost me about $60-70. It just sounds like it would be tough as hell and effective. That's what is drawing me to it so much.
