What do u guys think about running intervals(1 minute sprinting, 1 min walking) for 30 minutes total vs a good pace for entire session....I always keep my HR @75-80% it just seems to do more for me when I do intervals....any info and exp. would be greatly appreciated.....
I like intrervals also, U burn more calories in less time, but i get really bad shin splints when I run so alternate... but if your looking to get ripped i think intervals is the best...
When training for races, we never do it quiet like that. It's more likely 2 minutes relatively hard (not all out) and one minute easy (NOT walking). Sometimes the intervals change.
What you are actually somewhat describing isn't really an interval but a fartlek.
