so im runing a test e cycle at 500mgs aweek. 250mg and 250mg. i got all set up to inject today when i noticed a tiny little blue spec in the pin (looks like a tiny piece of the stopper). so i didnt use that pin and re drew with a new pin and didnt see anything so i injected and everything went smooth. im drawing with a 23g pin which is tiny for drwaing so i figured id never have this issue. the gear is BD from 2005 and it says its ok till the end of this month 2010. has this happened to anyone else and what did u do??? i have a full cc just sitting in the pin cuase id rather be safe then sorry. thanks

i would dump it all back into the vial and carefull suck out the stopper withdrawing as little test as posible. kind of like when you get a shell in your eggs. LOL

Remove the needle ,squirt back in the vial, refill carefully or use a filter to purify it.

What your describing is refered to as "coring" and is typically seen when someone is using a large guage needle to draw from a multi use vial.

The best way to avoid this from occuring is to use the smallest guage needle possible when drawing from your vial and to be conscious about how your inserting the needle into the stopper.

The best practice to avoid this from happening in the future is as follows:

1. Use the smallest needle necessary to draw.

2. Be careful and conscious about how you insert your needle into the vial stopper. Slow, straight, smooth and don't use the same spot every time.

3. After drawing, pull back on the plunger to bring all liquid back into the body and then swap the needle you drew with for a fresh needle.

4. Visually inspect the liquid in the needle for contaminants.

5. If none, Inject as instructed.
