July 18 @ 11:30 check-in, 1:00 pm surgery. Pray for a good outcome for me. I've heard some real horror stories. I'm optimistic because the damage is not that bad: 2 tears; one 11cm tear of the supraspinatus tendon and a partial tear of the infraspinatus tendon. I also have a big ol' bone spur on the acromion (the part of the shoulder blade that attaches to the collar bone) that the doc said may have contributed to the injury.
