Bench Presses Suck!

Everytime I do them I hurt my left shoulder to the point where its immovable!!

I did the heating pad and aspirin... anyother rembedies?
 
rotator cuff strengthening exercises worked for me, when i dislocated it, and alot of stretches so that it doesnt freeze up, just my $0.02.
 
I know that I will get flamed for this but here goes:

The best remedy to heal an injured shoulder is to lay off the bench press. Their are so many other exercises that you can do to hit your chest. After talking with a few veteran lifters, they told me that the bench is an overrated move that is used only to build up an ego. I have laid off of the bench presses and my shoulder pains have subsided.
 
I also have severe shoulder pain. I cannot lift my right arm standing up straight but when I slouch I can lift it.
Incline hurts the worse.

I use dumbells, always will for chest. Bench presses don't even work the chest that well IMO, and flat presses are dangerous...I only do flat bench for triceps using close grip.
