I assume he was banned for using the PM system to advertise a product which competes with an existing sponsors product, w/o paying for advertising. Not a big deal...many people have been banned for the same thing. Allowing people to do things like that lowers the value of the EF advertising rate, and makes the site lose money.

His being banned was likely just a business decision.

Radar was the mod who said that. Then again, Radar was removed from staff for lying and misrepresenting himself. So I don't know if I trust his word. No offence to him or anyone, because I don't know the dude...but since he was removed from staff for lying, I don't know what his word is worth.
