Roonie vs Jay.....you decide.

But the big black guy has some nice traps.;)
 
Well Ronnie if surely bigger, but not by much. His mass looks sloppy. I would edge out Cutler ahead slightly. So there i think Cutler should have best Ronnie. Cutler looked MUCH harder and tighter. His abs, legs and overall summetry is just simply better.

BTW, the black guy is Ronnie Coleman, the white is Jay Cutler.
 
Cutler has him on the legs, abs.

No one i've seen can beat Mr. Coleman's freakish traps and shoulders.

Actually im amazed at the quad dev on cutler.

It's close but im gonna have to go with cutler this year, I think Ronnie has looked better and more cut before.

Ronnie has bigger lats but the other guy has the "three muscle thing" more visible in the quads.
 
those lats on both are just sick. just plain crazy...

ronnie does have massive delts/traps. cutler overall is looking a lot better (legs, chest, abs for sure)

ok sure Ronnie has what you could call a gut, but Cutler? His abs look hard an cut , plenty cut, his abs are off- or misaligned so to speak but gh gut no. As far as Symmetry goes, it's a misused word. Everything on these guys is equally developed and maxed out. If there were a problem with someone's symmetry he'd be sportin a weak set of legs or maybe one side of his body would be slightly different. The way people use the word "symmetry" they're actually describing a "look" or a style of physique preference.

Coleman has bigger lats, that is uncomparable.
 
I don't care what anyone says, I never liked the look of Coleman's physique. Sure he's a big massive freak but look at that gut. Would you want a gut that looks like its about to burst open? And when he stands relaxed all his muscles seem to droop. I wouldn't even place him in the top 6.
 
They are both sick!! It must be nice to have god given genetics :( (not to mention money for the insane amounts of gear)

Do you have a back lat spread or back double bi. Id like to compare back thickness, rear delts, hammies, glutes, calves. I think a lot of opinions might change then. Especially with the back separation that Ronnie always comes through with.
 
weider shaved his mustache for one reason.............does anyone know why.. its really clear.... the hair was bothering coleman when they were getting each other off. cutler was the better man in this event. its to bad weider has to much pull........
 
cutler should have had it,coleman is a freak but jay is definatly in better shape while ronnie looks off season,look at them fucking quads ronnie hardly has any cuts,veins yes but nothing compaired to cutler aswell as abs,cutlers may be misangled but thats just gentics they still are ripped/thick,maybe he will take it next year,i hope so,get colemans ass out of there
 
Why are people saying that Cutler's abs are messed up???

Don't you all know that abdominals genetically come in many ways?

Most bodybuilders do not have the same abs as the next one. Some will NEVER get more than 2 or 4 abs to show due to genetics, LOOK AT ARNOLD.

And if you really want to see freakish abs, just LOOK AT RONNIE. He has the weirdest shaped abs I've ever seen, the top two bend down around the middle ones.

Cutler's tick-tac-toe washboard is not something to look down on, and not only that but there is nothing he can do about it. Not everyone in this world has abdominals that line up perfectly symmetrical, in fact I believe more people have misaligned abs than not.

Cutler is definately more cut, especially in the leg department. Coleman doesn't look that lean...his abs are hardly showing and there aren't visible seperations in his quads! What the hell!
 
Look at the second pic, Jay has him beat in the lats. Legs is all Jay also. WAY more cut. Ronnie is bloated and round (look at the pecs and gut). Fucking bullshit. Jay beat his ass.
 
Well there is no doubt that Jay is in better condition, Coleman looks like he has a layer of water under his skin and does not look dry at all...Where Cutler looks dry as a bone,but as far as mass Ronnie has got em
 
These guys are so very close physique wise in my opinion. However, points are awarded for presentation and posing as well right? I did not catch it live, anyone can comment on this?
 
Everybody seems to forget that judges at the O usually go for freaky size rather symmetry. Ronnie looks a little bit more freakish than Jay in those pics but not by much.

But I have to give credit where credit is due....Jay looks f**king awesome!!! He always had great size but damn...he took it to a new level this year. I hope he doesn't take this loss to hard b/c he was robbed.

By the way, what has happened to Lee Priest in that last couple of years...he was placing in the the top 5 about 4 years ago. What the hell happened to him?
 
Anybody know where to see the judges scorecards at,was it close? I personally like the Dexter Jackson look. I think Levrone should have won his second title.
 
what the fuck... cutler shouldnt even be up there IMO hes got so many weaknessess look at his symmetry its horrid, chest/quads/abs horrid. theres no way in hell he can beat ronnie the only reason hes up there is... well you know. the only flaw that ronnie REALLY has is his midsection, he overpowers every other competitor with his size. think about it, other than his gut, he has an incredible physique and symmetry for that matter, ronnies back for one thing is unbeatable, his glute/ham seperation...DAMN!

now if it were say levrone and coleman, or cormier, i would say its debatable but cutler?? please he wasnt robbed, he was lucky to crack top 5!!
 
I think they both have their strengths. Ronnie's a little bigger, but cutler is more lean and cut. Judges just sided with ron. that's all.
 
I was at the show yesterday, and I thought jay had it all the way! And king-10th, nasser-9th, what the fuck is that shit? Ruhl, not even the top 10, ..........fuckin politics!

Ronnie just doesnt look as good as he has. He is incredibly massive there is no doubt. It almost looks as though he really didnt care about getting as cut as he did before. He is the most massive and that is why he won plus the politics. Its too bad because it is getting to the point that its not even worth watching. Now I didnt get to see the event and not sure that Jay shouldve won either. My problem is that the chemistry is taking things to a scary degree. There are gonna be 14 year old kids looking at that and wanting to get on massive doses of gear and GH just so they would even ever be able to come close to being that size by the time they are 25. It is just getting a little out of hand. I am not against gear or GH I am not against being freaky big, but lets be slightly realistic for a little bit.
 
Ronnie's Mass is insane. And why hasnt anyone posted back photos? Ronnie's back is HUGE, and look at the traps, does Jay even have any? His shoulders look square, nothing leading from the delts to the neck. Sure Ronnies abs look the worst they ever have, but to discredit him as much as he has been getting from this board is ridiculous.

i think there needs to be standards wrt to, .... uh ratios. ya know the ex. neck in proportion to the traps, delts to arms etc. i dont know hell.

i still luv the zane, scott, pearl & arnold's type of proportions.

I watched the last 1/2 over the $15 high speed connection with that kick ass stop action video so they all sort of looked a little soft -- but I thought Kevin L. looked good. Markus was insanely huge. Ronnie just looked soft and Jay C.was the only one I could see quad striations on. So given the quality of my feed thought Jay or Kevin were on top. Ronnie just didnt' do much for me.

According to the above pix, Ronnie was smooth and has a bit of a bloat going. The big guys just sort of generally have trouble getting the same ripped up look that the shorter guys do, but shit, if you want to compete in the Mr O and you can't even pull out your quads, get the fuck off the stage. Ronnie had a nice wedgie going during the pose down too.

I think it should've been Jay. I wanna know who Ronnie blew to win.
 
Here's the way I see it: When Dorian was kicking everyone's ass, not many people arguedabout how far ahead of everyone he was. The thing is, Dorian had 2 bodyparts better than everyone else, back and calves. Other than that, he didn't have many other people beat. Now fast forward to the present. Ronnie has the best back (by far, no one else even comes close), the best arms (except for Greg Valentino:D who couldn't compete due to his incarceration:D ), possibly the best traps and shoulders, one of the best chests (next to Nasser), and some damn big thighs. Cutler wasn't robbed, he actually won the most coveted prize in bodybuilding. Every year, no one says, "Who's going to win the O?', they say"Who's going to be second?" Well, from the pics I've seen, here's the top 10:

1. Ronnie
2. Cutler
3. Levrone
4. Cormeir
5. Kamali
6. Nasser
7. Orville
8. Dennis James
9. Dexter Jackson
10.Ruhl

Notice...No Shawn Ray. That's the only thing that makes me say it's politics. He was off, but he still got 4th, that was wrong. If you ask me, Other than kamali and Cutler, I've seen everybody in the field look better than they did this year.

Ronnie's second win was the best i've seen him, Levrone looked better about 5 years ago, Nasser looked his best in 96 or 97 (can't remember which year), Cormeir was better last year, and even though I'm a big James fan, he looked a lot better at the earlier shows this year.
 
Jay looks 100% better than last year. I think Jay looks better, but Ronnie has him as far as thickness goes. Compare the arms in the second or third pics. Ronnie's arms, forearms and chest are much thicker overall than Jay's. Ronnie's biceps make my sick!!! He definately has what I call the "hanging biceps." When his hands are resting on his waist the biceps are so huge they just hang down, and look so damn huge.
 
Being from Maryland I have had the op. to meet Kevin levrone and I hated his attitude, wait hate is a strong word lets just say i didn't like him after that day. Great Body, F***ed up attitude.
 
Coleman's lats traps and back dwarf Cutler. Cutler has better wheels ans abs. The guns go to Ronnie, too. Ray(Shawn) looked good with the extra, what?, 10lbs?
 
I give the edge to cutler. His midsection is tighter and that makes the whole package look better. Regardless, you have to give it to cutler for pulling out all the stops. He looks amazing. If he keeps this up there may be an olympia in his future. Ronnies traps are awesome but jays shoulder development is pretty darn close ot his. Cutler has always been one of my favorites. Its good to see hiim living up to his potential. Levrone looked good but his physique is obviously tired. Kamala is all hype and he didnt place because his body is a block.
 
the last pic posted above molle23's post tells the story, actually jay cutlers legs arent that much better than ronnies, and in the last pic jay is having to stand bowed up with his skinny ass, while ronnie just stands there with mounds of muscle hanging, that is the relaxed pose, and jay is not relaxed he is bowin up every part of his body to try and even look half the size of ron, ronnie is just standing there relaxed, he is huge, the last pic says it all, ronnie coleman is a badass!!!!!! Jay cutler is a puny fucker!!! Actually if you look at the pic, ronnie has bigger traps, shoulders, chest, arms, legs, forearms, back, and his abs are showing, all you can see on cutler in the pic is a four pack.......Ronnie has all the perfect tie-ins, and all the perfect muscle structure, with huge muscles to go with it........Cutler isnt even close......look at it, the third pic, look how much bigger ronnie is, and he is just as hard!

Jay wins in the Abs, Quads and Calves

Since Upper body advantage is somehow more appealing to the human eye, Ronnie's win shouldn't be suprising. Just by looking these pictures I'd have voted for Ron.

I hate Cutler. He looks like shit and nowhere close to Coleman! Yes he is big and cut but his genetics sucks! His legs are short and he looks like a clown in my opinion! Stop this shit about Ronnie`s gut! :) I like it! :) He has incredible back and he looks much better than Jay.
 
I am a big fan of Ronnie but I would have to say cutler looked better. Ronnies gut is getting out of hand, his size is amazing but he looks very watery and not as hard as he used to. I think many of us have bodybuilding confussed. It should be about whos in the best shape not whose the biggest. Arnold would destory all of them! These guys today are freaks and thats the bottom line. I have no problem with getting huge and massive like Arnold but some of these guys are just looking to ridiculous, might as well stick Craig Covax in there to he is a big huge ball of shit. Why was Rhul 14th, I saw him this summer he looked freakish and thats what wins these contests.
 
I think Jay was better but it was close. You guys have to understand this is a buisness. Ronnie Coleman is the champ and will probably leave as the champ. There is a lot of money on the line. Would like to express myself a little more but I have to go.

I'll give Cutler quadsize, and abs.......but it takes more than just quads and abs guys........I damn sure don't need to compare the lats spread, back dbl bi pose, and hams from the back. It ain't even close from the back. There isn't but one man (D Yates) with a back like Colemans period. Cutler is not there, that was a gift finish. Post a rear lat spread, and back dbl bi pose, and hams....
and the gap will widen even more.

Coleman's abs have never been a strong point.
 
I dont think alot of you guys voting for cutler know what to look for to judge. in EVERY single one of those pics, Ronnie has cutler.

most obvious are pics 3 and 4...no flame intended, but cutler has work to do if he ever wants to de-throne Coleman
 
The contest is ALWAYS won from the back view-----Why are there no pictures of back double bicep shots-----Because without question ronnie can not be beaten from the back----Looking at the front is only half the contest----And its easy to see Jay was tighter and may have edged him out just a bit(only on condition) but when they turn around it is easy to see who wins the show. Cutlers growth belly is right up there with colemans, its just cutler was tighter from the front-----Cutlers waist is wider then colemans so he has that blocky look.

SOMEONE POST SOME GOOD BACK DOUBLE BICEP-GLUTE SHOTS OF THESE TO TO PUT THIS TO REST!

By the way can anyone believe the size of cutlers fucking head---He hands down has the biggest jaw bone that is out there. He looks like a cartoon of the morphed super hero!

The most telling pics are the ones were both of them are relaxed........Colemans muscles immediately droop. His chest looks like rounded tits when he's relaxed, no box cut whatsoever. I almost got a hard on looking at those rounded cow nips!!!!
Now I'm not saying Cutler should have won, I haven't yet seen everyone's pics..........but to me he looked more like a BB'er that Coleman. Ronnie looks like a block, Jay's symmetry is MUCH better.....and I thought that was what won Mr.Olympia's. The first two years that Ronnie won it, I thought were the best ANYONE has ever looked. Now he's just an ox, and you can tell he's tapped out his frame........his muscles can't even hold themselves up anymore.
 
I thought Ronnie looked better at the Arnold Classic---a lot tighter and lighter. I've only seen a few pictures of Ruhl but did he get ripped off or what---Who did he piss off?

Jay is obvoiusly more cut in the legs ,abs and his calves are bigger. Ronnie has better seperation between his traps and massive delts. Jay should have won ; but Ronnie got this one on prestige!!!!!!

It'll will be Jay's turn next year!!!!

i am gonna say jay just cause he is from my state. gotta support the local or ex local guys. personally i think all pro bbs are freaks and I have a hard time judging them.

Yeah Jay smoked Ronnie. Jay was tight and dry, Ronnie was fat and holding water. And I also read that Ronnie said he drank like a gallon of water before predjudging. This either makes him a fucking liar, or a complete dumbass. I wonder what the thinking was behind that manuever(assuming it even took place and was not just a cop out to make excuses why he looked like ass). "Jee, I just trained my ass off for 16 weeks for this show, took $100,000 worth of drugs, then the last week used a bunch of diruetics and plasma expanders to suck my sub-q water out, its an hour before predjudging, I'm going to drink a fuck load of water to reverse everything I did this week.
He's a liar or an idiot. I personally think he's BS. Sorry that got a little longer than I planned.
 
On Ronnie's Defense even though I felt Jay Won. From the front his wasit looks smaller than Jays. From the side is another story.
