Well, I deadlift wearing nothing but a hot pink thong and bright red high heel shoes. Also, I keep 16 quarters tucked snuggly between my ass cheeks during every rep of every set. Top that "Ultra".:)
 
Ronnie Coleman drops his weights because he made atraining video. He wants to make sure that everyone who buys it says to themselves, "hmmmm, I sure wish I could lift that much, get that huge, bloat that well, and, hey, come to think of it, they don't let little ole me drop the weights at my gym...in fact, they even have signs posted telling me explicitly not to. Yah, I wish I could drop my weights too."

In other words its to appeal to his audience. Other pros aren't buying this video. Its the people who want to walk like a duck and talk like a duck and think they can get a step closer by buying a Daffy Duck video.

Would I watch it...yes. Would I go out of my way to find it, or go as far as to pay $$$ for the thing...hahahaahaha!!! Duck that!

I guess i am going to have to find that video somewhere, and imo he has earned the right to drop the weights, and besides that do you think anyone is going to tell him anything....
 
First thing, he is a dork for dropping the weights on all sets...

I don't care how big he is. He should atleast try to put them down carefully.

On the shrugs he could have easily dropped them down softly.

If it was just for the video than that is cool but if he does this in a gym he is a prick!

Thinking dork, you guys remember Ronnie's big Purple suit at the last Arnold. (I will try to find a pic)

Anyway that being said he is a powerhouse.

Damn!

I think his lifts are real. He was a powerlifter before a bodybuilder and that is why he is so strong.

MOE: Not all bars bend a lot. In my gym we have 3 olympic bars tested for 1000lbs. They don't bend unless you have like 7 plates on each side and even then it's barely bending.

On a regular bar it starts bending over 3 plates per side.
