Ron Paul isn't blaming America for 9/11, he is just pointing out that we CANNOT continue to go around the world intervening in the internal affairs of other countries and not expect it to come back full circle to us in some way. If you wish to remain in denial and in the dark about that fact, then you do so at your own risk. Obviously the hijackers chose to do what they did, but we created the atmosphere that bred them!! We supported the Taliban and Bin-Laden against the Soviets in the 80's!! When the Soviets left Afghanistan, we just left too and it was a war-torn country in rubble that the Taliban took over. We also supported Saddam against the Iranians in the 1980's after the Iranians overthrew the puppet government WE installed! These are facts my friend.

Paul won't abolish the CIA, but he's simply saying that the CIA was ineffective in preventing 9/11, so making that agency even larger and spending more money on it is preposterous.

He's a good man with the right ideas. That's why the media is so damn antagonistic towards him - they're scared shitless because they KNOW americans in general agree with what he is saying, and if he were to receive equal media coverage to the "top tier", this race would be over before it even began.

I'm glad to see someone is brainwashed by the media spin. Paul does not blame our country for the terrorist attacks, he blames our persistant meddling in other people's affairs. It's called "blowback". Middle easterners have had it against us since the IranCONTRA affair, where the "holy" CIA overthrew the democratically elected Iranian prime minister Mohammed Mossadegh because he wanted to nationalize the country's oil industry. Read the books that Paul suggested that Giuliani read. Also, wouldn't you be pissed as hell if there were Chinese military bases in the United States? I know I would. Same deal.

He does want to shut down the CIA... but so what? The terrorist attacks happened... it's not like they prevented them. And if the damn anti-terrorist agencies spent less time squabbling between one another they'd be much more efficient - getting rid of one is a great way to do that. In fact, the CIA has done a lot of twisted shit to foreigners that would be so blatantly against our constitutional principles that the idea should make you cringe. There is nothing holy about the CIA.

Romney is a two-faced career politician who will say anything to anyone to get their vote, and Rudy is a 9/11 opportunist. Go ahead and vote for those people. If you're going to rely on media spin instead of thinking independently, they deserve you. The founders would be spinning in their graves.
