Anyway, NBC news just did a "special announcement" that he is in fact pulling out of the race. They said he sat down and looked at everything (the votes, the amount of money he's spent, etc.) and decided he will pull out now to preserve for the future. So, if the repub's don't get it this election, he can save up some money to give another run in 4 years.

Not many Americans would easily sacrifice themselves for the greater good of their fellow people (or political party). What he did was very honorable. Obama or Hillary would never do such a thing because they are self-serving opportunists. Someone like Kucinich or Lieberman would I think though. Aside from abortion, gay rights and a few other social issues I agree with the conservative people on the supreme court.

The liberals are pro-lawyer, pro-litigation, pro-let the government take my land, anti-business, pro-criminal, anti-gun...shit the list goes on....

Besides, I'll never get an abortion and I am not gay so the few issues I disagree with the conservatives don't really effect me.

The Repubs just seem to pander to the "social conservative", if they would just embrace personal choice and freedom with their fiscal conservatism they would win hands down. Reagan won based on his economic policies and in spite of the party platform on social values.
