well i got a nice date just rolex that is great conditon, i am just not feeling it.....i mean it is awsome looking watch just not worth it in my opinion i have had it for a while too.....anyone else buy something or have something for a while and it is just gets old as fuck?
 
Typical with Rolex... they are not worth the purchase... sort of like buying an expensive double wide home.

Get a cartier or patek for a true watch investment.
 
I have a fake one that looks REAL real ..

Other than the weight and the second hand movement,
you can't tell it's not real...

What kind did you get, just curious. I have one and I rarely wear it. I used it for business and wore it in board meetings and such. To be honest, I like my $200 Wenger diving watch a lot better. The Rolex was just a status thing, I could really care less now.
 
I can't afford a Rolex right now.. so opted for an Omega Seamaster.. If i were to get a Rolex, i'd get the Submariner Diver watch.... The date just just look way too old/gaudy....Plus so many fakes out there......But for now, i'll stick with what i got.. I really liked wearing my $150 Swiss Army watch that i got free thru Marlboro miles....
 
Rolex while a status is still a good watch. I have one that is 39 years old and it still works great. And since it is gold it doesn't get funky looking from wearing it in saltwater.

you said it.....IT IS ALL STATUS i dont wear it all the time since i am anal about banging it up.....so i kinda baby it too......


it is a rolex datejust (stainless) with the jubilee band....looks really nice let me find a pic

I think it was this sentence: "well i got a nice date just rolex that is great conditon" -- that, and the fact that I've had maybe 12 hours of sleep in the last 4 days... lol...

Anyways, I'm not a watch person -- I can't stand the feel of jewelry on me... Rolex watches are nice though...

I have a fake Rolex Oyster. Like Y Lifter said, it's nearly impossible for someone to tell if its a fake or not. Otherwise, I prefer my Tag.

You can actually get them with swiss movement now for about $100
 
I've got 2 Stainless Steel Rolex Daytona and one gold watch with diamonds. I'm in the watch business and I like a good collection. Living in Hong Kong alot of people see what you drive, what you wear....blah blah blah.

I bet that one keeps time better though! My mate spent £60,000 on a Rolex, but uses his mobile phone for the correct time :insane:
