Robb Report, Fortune - do the rich/wealthy read stuff like this?

I only read fortune and forbes. And NOT only the rich read those. I know some people who are far from rich and they read fortune on a regular basis. Most Rich people I know dont read any magazines at all.

You got that right, they can't be bothered. They didn't get rich by following advice that is available to the masses. They worked their butts off while taking calculated risks for the most part. The risks they take are almost always "unique", not something you find in a Forbes. I have lots of uber-wealthy friends and they do not read those publications.

That being said these are great magazines to read for inspiration and education, but the wealthy for the most part do not read them other than oaccaisonally to hear the "juice" on the competition.

They do not usually buy them, they might be bored while flying on their "fractional ownership" jet and pick one up for a few minutes...but that's about it.

money is as unique as non money. to generalize like this is playful, but hardly worthy. I have seen both rags in the hands of billionaires as well as people magazine and mad magazine.

I think reading the publications mentioned might change the expectations you have for yourself for the better. It's beneficial to surround yourself with successful people and their opinions.

I read that shit for amusement. Usually the purchase of high end goods, whether houses, cars or airplanes or anything..in my experience, is done by word of mouth.

yes, when they are on vacation.
no, when they are working in the Financial district making money investing with no time to read about what they "should" do, ect.

Barron's is a quality printing as well. It's like a high end wall-street journal.
