Yeah. And supposingly he did some kind of speedball or cokeball or whatever it was called. I think it was in the Viper Pit or some other popular celebrity hangout club. the guy that supplied him with the drugs was reported to be standing around telling him not to mix that much quantity together in it because it would kill him, even if he hadn't been using all night long. He did it anyway and died outside on the sidewalk.
