watch the weather channel. they put up some numbers citing a 1909 hurricane and Andrew in 1992 and said Rita is only weaker compared to them. it is a massive storm.

It stalled in the gulf which is allowing it to build in size and strength... once they hit land they die so the faster they move to land the better.. this one is a doozy.
