right before you inject do push a little out of the syringe or not?

I always do.If I I'm taking 1ml injections i'll draw just a little more than that.I'll than push alittle out to make sure thers no air in there and it also give it a lttle bit of lubrication going in.

Hell NO. That's wasting good juice. I always keep about 3/10ths of a cc of air IN the syringe to utilize the air lock injection technique. This prevents leakage, gets ALL the substance out of the needle, and minimizes injection site discomfort. When there's no air in the syringe you will always leave juice in the needle as there's no pressure to push it all out. That's about 1/10th of juice wasted. Then you go and push another 1/10th out before you inject and you're left with 1/5th less dose than was the plan.
For a 200mg/ml concentration that's 40mg lost(at least). I want every mg I can get....They all count.

Air is your friend..

does anyone realize how much air in a syringe it would take to kill you? I always kinda chuckle at dudes flicking the syringe and getting every last bubble out...like Breezers said, there is a vacuum that's created...unless you guys are filling turkey basters, a bit of air will be absorbed harmlessly by the body.

From what I've read, it's true that it would take a whole lot of air to kill you but, to save just a few pennies, it isn't worth the chance of hurting myself, I'll stick with getting the majority of the air out. I don't worry about a few small bubbles but, I'm not going to intentionally push air in.

I use the airlock technique as well. Basically you draw up about 1/8 to 1/4 cc of air into the syringe after you draw up the juice. You lay in a position to where the needle will be inserted straight down, thus forcing the air pocket to the top/plunger area of the needle. This ensures the juice goes in first and the air goes in last. As you inject the oil will go in and the pocket of air forces the the remaining juice that would normally stay in the hub of the needle into the body. Hope that's clear.
