Riddle Me This....

Why do we feel the need to not only gorge ourselves with calories, but eat every two hours when all we did was get out of bed and shower? I can see the excess cals being essential if you trained in the early am, but if we train in the pm, why the hell are we eating all the way up to then??? Did you think you'll lose mass eating once, than after your training....like 95% of the world........
 
They should be small meals anyways.Just remember that your body will only metabolize so many grams of protein an hour so in oder to get the amount we need,in some cases 1 1/2-2 grams of protein per pound of body weight,we need to spread those meals thoughout the day,starting when you wake.Keep this in mind unless you get up in the middle of the night to eat you might be going 6-8 hours with nothing in your stomach.Remember this FOOD IS THE MOST ANOBOLIC SUBSTANCE KNOWN TO MAN.Hope this helps Bro.
 
fuel man fuel. 2 years ago i would eat a whole box of hamburger helper with 1lb. of 90/10 beef for breakfast. then a 80g protein shake with a shitload of carbs and go to the gym an 1-1/2 later. come back and eat a hamburger steak/sweetpotato. and still have two more meals to go. LOL. :RADAR

hey guy your diet questions can be answered at bally's and bevery international websites FOR FREE...they can answer these burning questions over diet. They'll even pretend to be your friend. So there really is no need to keep posting diet q's as this has been hashed over at least, help me guys, 50 times in your last 50 posts

Isn't Beverly like the wholesale supplement distributor that formulates most of the products that major supplement companies sell out there? I may be mistaken, but didn't Bill Phillips have Beverly formulate his original MetRX formula? I've been told that they'll help you design your own supplement line and labels for $$$.

i don't know guy, but beverly can set Jkurz up with a dietician for free and they can play pee pee tickle all day long, you know diet q's
 
i hate that though. i know guys that lift and eat 4 times the entire day (a meal being one of those 24g protein plus bars) and are big, strong and ripped. of everyone ive known that lifts here at my school, ive never known one guy that eats 6,000 calories a day and more than 300 grams of protein except for me, and im smaller than every other human and female on the planet. fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ding Ding Ding...we have a winner...
Your body cant metabolize 300+ grams of protien in 2 to 3 meals...
Also cramming all your food in at night in a short period of time will slow down your metabolism and you will put more bloat/fat on that way

Actually, I consume the majority of my calories "around" my workouts which means before, during, and within two hours after my workout and consume small meals otherwise; It has been very effective.

consistentsy and patience! if you are really downing that many calories everyday then you WILL gain weight just give it time.
 
missed my point...I'm no NEWB.....just trying to think analytically........I just know two many dude thats look really good and eat 3 squares, no pref. to protein, and snack at night....
 
i drink 60 grams of protien when i get up because of my body repairing itself at night needs to be replenished in the morning with amino acids

that's NOT you, you know you need to pack on lbs!!!!! SO DO IT!!! EAT 6,7,8 times ED...Silence..you're next post should be, "I just put on 10 pounds" and nothing else
 
Just put on 10lbs............wheww.......2 protein bars and 3-4 nice big spoon fulls of peanut butter down the hatch!
 
I recently gained some weight (while off cycle) by eating about a quart of low-fat cottage cheese before going to bed. The casein takes a while to digest and stays with you longer. You might through that in there bro.....
 
everyone knows gladiators were so big and muscular eating weed stew once a day.
