Rice&Oatmeal

My god I hate oatmeal :mad: I'll eat it when dieting but I never touch the stuff why bulking up. As for chicken, I eat it every second day (eating it as we speak in fact ;) )

I like oatmeal, the flavored packets kind, but then you get so many carbs, its not really worth it anymore. Though it is decent for hiding a dose of gplenish in.
 
Mustang who mentioned chicken? LOL. I eat alot of rice when bulking and oatmeal and a protien shake for breakfast when I'm on the run. Oatmeal is a great source of carbs IMHO.
 
Rice and oatmeal are primo carbs. brown rice preferably.

Oatmeal rocks with a tbsp. of natty Peanut butter mixed in while cooking and then a bit of low-fat flavoured yogurt mixed in...mmmgood :p
 
Oatmeal with casein chocolate protein
Oatmeal with apple or kiwi or banana cooked in for a sweetner
Put oatmeal in a blender and grind it up and add to a shake or use ground oatmeal with ground turkey for meatloaf
 
I have my stages where I'll eat oatmeal a couple times a day. I usually eat a salad bowl full, put some brown sugar on top and pour on 1/2 litre of skim milk. Great when trying to pile in the cals.
 
I use natty honey on my oatmeal,and I cant eat it all the time,same with egss though,if I eat to much I gag

Shit! My bad LOL! Must have got to caught up in what I was eating hehehe ;) As for rice, I love it! Brown rice with a little bit of butter mmmmmmmm :p Plain oatmeal tastes like dirt to me, need some flavor in it like the apple or maple brown sugar Quaker packs :)

I can get by with a little brown sugar on my oatmeal. The quaker peaches and creme is the bomb, but its loaded with sugars.

As for chicken, I eat it every day (3 breasts worth).
 
I was always told to stay away from the quaker instant packs, or any instant oatmeal at that. Its the same as instant mashed potatoes etcc.... For the instant oatmeal, its the equivalent of eating cardboard. No nutrients, fibre is gone, pumped full of sugar, very high glycemic and causes a huge insulin rush. The plus side is that it tastes a lot better, and is very quick!
