Rhinoplasty anyone?

steroids will make you nose bigger.

ok let me ask this question again

I am getting rhinoplasty surgery done the end of this month, my question is will the use of as have any effect on the procedure.

If you're asking if being on AAS whille having surgery is a problem the answer is yes. There are clotting issues that need to be addresssed. You may bleed more then normal and the doctor needs to know this.

Bingo...

Any surgery you run the risk of lots of blood loss (and moreso if you are on anabolics :()

My guess would be a 3 weeks to a month, i'm curious as to what the answer is.

yep its a nose job

anyway you also have to worry about different healing speeds etc. youd likely heal faster, but maybe the scar will look different. ask a plastic surgeon who works on BBers

cheers

How big of a nose you want???
I assume this as women always want bigger boobs..........:)

thanks people

so today in the morning i go out and buy a few mags including "muscle development" and dr. nadler has a article on this

bottom line is 6 weeks off before anything.

what the hell is rhinoplasty?

Rhinoplasty is the name for a family of operations designed to surgically sculpt the nose and nasal structure. Septoplasty is nasal sculpture on the septum or dividing wall between the nostrils inside the nose. Septorhinoplasty is a combined rhinoplasty and septoplasty.

There are many different operations that can be called rhinoplasty that can vary from a minimal sculpture to extensive reconstruction. Such questions about when to stop something before surgery is best discussed with your surgeon.

i would be off of everything b/c the doc will show u pics of people that didn't tell them that they were on such things, i had one doc show me a pic of a lady that had a tummy tuck and was a smoker and some other things that she didn't mention to the doc and she looked horrible. scarred real bad and red lines that didn't look like they were going away any time soon.

Do you know if any of this is covered by insurance? Reason is I broke my nose about a year and a half ago - it looks fine but I can't breathe out of one side and I was thinking of getting it fixed. Also whats the recovery time?

Some insurance companies cover nasal obstruction but not reshaping the nose which most companies consider cosmetic. That is something you would need to bring up with your own insurance.

Recovery After Rhinoplasty depends on the problem to be treated, surgical technique, skill of your surgeon, and how you heal. Many variations of nasal surgery involve bone and or cartilage sculpture. I prefer methods that minimize swelling and bruising after surgery as seen in the pictures shortly after surgery on that link. Like a broken nose, these tissues need time to heal before they can be stressed.

I had a toe operation last year at the same time I was near the end of a cycle. The surgeon told me that when he removed the nail, the bleeding was very heavy, much more so than normal. You should tell your surgeon you are using juice. Don't worry, you won't receive a lecture.

I had a septo-rhinoplasty last year (nose job + functional repair) - cost me £4200 (about $7500) - went straight into a Test/Var cycle 3 weeks after operation - didn't have any probs with healing etc......... nose looks cool & works better

I had it done...... And i Still can't breathe out of my one side of my F ing nose. I think i might get it done again. I was told I couldnt lift for a whole month. And I didnt. They said I would start bleeding horribly out of my nose again. I wasnt on anything and I had bad bleeding. Not to trouble you bro but that day after was absolutely fuckign horrible. I was up the whole night cause I got my nose packed or w/e its called. Hopefully you wont.

The cartilage in ears and nose can continue to grow in a lot of individuals. It grows very slowly of course but nonetheless if you live to be 100 you can just about expect to have floppy ears and a big ol schnouzer. :)
Guys and women for that matter who take large amounts of growth hormone and/or IGF-1 can experience growth in these areas, however these drugs make everything grow.
