I have recently returned to hitting the iron after nearly a year hiatus. Due to personal issues gear and prohormones are not an option (see my thread on M1T). And to be honest, my genetics are more than enough. However, training CAN be aided with the right supplements. My problem is that I am not up to date on the latest supps and need some of you guys to help me out.
In my past training I have had success with only a few supps. They are tribulus, multi-vitamin, and whey protein. If they worked for me then I am quite sure they will now. I will start this information quest with a couple questions at a time:

1) Flax seed oil: Read alot about it and most seem to think it works. I understand that it reduces/maintains fat? Any info is appreciated on this supplement.

2) Tribulus: Still a top natural test. booster?

Thanks ALOT for the input guy/gals :)

Thanks for the reply bro.

YES, indeed I have tried creatine many times. Simply "swole" me up, seemed like mostly water weight. Like I said, I am plenty big: 6' 1" ; 240lbs. of which 10-15 is extra fat. Hence the rekindled training :)

What does "efa" stand for? And I have read mixed opinions on fish oil vs. flax seed oil. Yet another instance of whatever works best for you I suppose but the added information is much appreciated.

efa= Essential Fatty Acids.
Try flax oil in you protein shakes: very good stuff.
Helps with fat burning and involved in many processes in the body.
More than likely your diet will be deficient in EFA's.
Natural sources include nuts, peanut butter, oily fish like sardines and avocados.
Get it down ya!

2-3 tbsp a day to start with

wherever you want
On the web is usually cheaper (DPSnutrition is OK)

I try not to mix oil and water becuase the oil will float to the top and when you drink it , you will only taste the oil. I guess if you mix your powder with milk , then it may mix fairly well , but I'm sure that would taste horrible. I'm not so sure about that one.

Nordic naturals makes a cod liver oil that is quite tasty. http://nordicnaturals.com/retailers/prodsummary.asp?ID=8
It's quite tastey by itself
