Reverse hyper with a twist

Well I brought in my Sissel SitFit type device, its basicly like a small squashed swiss ball. I put this on the edge of the high bench at the gym, it sits over the lip, and off course my stomach sits ontop. Really improves the exercise!

Firsly it wobbles a bit, an interesting feeling, and secondly it allows your body to curve over, molding into the shape of your body. This allows the spine to flex. You can literally feel your erector stretching and spine open up at the bottom of each rep! Because the spine flexes the erectors are worked dynamicly.

not imediately, maybe sometime in the future

it's not that hard to visualise, just imagine putting a small swiss ball object the size of a cushion under your belly right on the edge of the hyper bench :)

oh...now see, I was visualizing you balancing on TOP of that basket with the basket on TOP of the hyper bench.

My bad. ;)

I'd never heard of this cushion - what size did you get? I suppose it's dependent on the size of your derriere?

a real reverse hyper (weighted) feels like that. You feel like nice rejuvinating fluids are flowing into your spine..and getting a nice stretch.

Well I don't have a Sissel - different barnd, they only had size 30 in the shop, so that's what I have. I bought it to sit on, great for posture and core muscles!

But found out there are lots of uses, like doing split squats on to really hit the VMO, ab work and hypers etc.
Great for glute ham raises on the floor too!
