REVENGE - how far is too far

Just asking some opinions.

A while ago, someone did something to me that was very wrong and very intentional. I don't dwell on it but I saw this guy this weekend here at Florida State.

He is going to graduate soon and is applying for government work in the department of justice: FBI or more likely US Marshal.

I am in a position where I can contact someone and probably arrange for him to never ever get these jobs.

Would you?

it depends on how bad a thing he did to you.

if what you tell them is true then you should do it.

it really depends on what he did to you and if that guys credientals are fine for the job i doubt there is much u could do.

depends on what he did

did he do something that irreversibly changed your life, really altered what you could achieve in life. thats hat you might be doing to him.

if it was really terrible then maybe.

Gorlim,

I am 90% sure I can prevent his hiring.

what he did was very wrong. Assuming his deed merits revenge, is this too far?

IMO it all depends on what he did to you. If it was me and this guy really did something to fuck me over then I would make that call and make sure he never gets those jobs.

the way it is now is it like he got the last laugh? did he make you his bitch and you couldnt do anything about it? if so then you do this and you get the last laugh.

matt, what he did hurt you in some way, correct?

but you moved on and got on with life, correct?

well, HURT HIM BACK.. see if he has the same drive to get on with life... if not, then you really only helped out the people of this nation... i wouldnt want a guy with no drive working with the fbi in our current situation...

GET YOUR REVENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now, coming from me that may tell you that you shouldnt... since i am a vindictive asshole and all.

You just answered your own question. If his deed merits revenge, then the only thing that should stop you is your desire not to extract it.

However, if he shows regret or remorse for what he did, then that is another thing to consider.
