Returning from seeing Triple X ... my thoughts

First off... the first half hour was better than the second, it just wore this as his one liners became quite predictable.

The motorcycle jumps in Columbia were quite stupid. No one can bunny hop a motorcycle over a 12 foot fence with no ramp.

My eyes were killing me from all the tattoos on everyone. I thought I would see a sponsor called Got Ink pop up during the movie.

That chic had a fucked up voice and laugh. Man, she was grating my nerves.

So the avalanache demolished the building, but that flimsy little control tower stayed up? WTF???

Vin Diesel looks ok from the front, but that side profile... Geezzz... He has a big and funny shaped cranium.

Saw a tape of it at work yeterday. Man the movie sucked ass. Talk about predictable lines, scenes and stunts. Acting was bad and the action was made for 15 year olds. Story line equally fitting a 15 year old movie goers. This movie will do well in the first week or 2 then die fast. Glad i did not pay to see it.

The only problem with this is that Checkloslovakia is .....landlocked.

Actually, no that is not the plot. The movie is actually the submarine, just watch it sink under the waters....



The plot is similiar to James Bond, they are in Prague and the bad guy is using a high powered speed boat (looks like a hacked up cigar) to launch a poison into the air.

That was my take on it...it was entertainment plane and simple. Nothing more, nothing less. If you are expecting Hamlet you will be disappointed. However if you accept it for a big budget shoot 'em up...then it was pretty good.

Sure there were some VERY unbelievable parts...but its a MOVIE. The good guy has to win...get over it.
