Retin A cream making stretch marks worse!

It's making my stretch marks more red and a little bit bigger. It's like it's peeling away the outer layer of skin leaving this more red stretch mark... im wondering if i continue if it'd be able to peel the red away? Is this something that gets worse before it gets better or should i just stop?

I've used retina on my face and it definatly made my skin peel off but after a while i noticed my face was really clearling up. hopefully that will help you and i used to put lots of lotion on try that also

ya, never used it anywhere but face, but after a month or so face stoped being so dry. Winter is the worse though, use lots of good lotion.

Where you using that you have stretch marcks?

Thats what the stuff is sposed to do, it will make the outer layer of skin peel away so that newer skin will surface... the redness will eventually go away with continued use and the stretchmark will fade, thus becoming less noticeable...BTW DO NOT tan the area that you are puttin it on...it will make it peel more, dry up, and get very irritated...

yea, I got the same stretch marks under my arms. I wonder if skin get used to that stuff, cause it seems to be less effective now. I can even tan or be in sun and my skin dont get to dry. It does kill any chance of a tan, though. Just get kinda red, then back to white. And I usuall tan like a bastart!! I usually dont use any day im gonna be in sun.
