Retaining water on Clen like crazy, please help

Hi all,

I will try to be as detailed as possible on my situation.

I'm 5'4" 128lb, 20% BF in my late 20s

Started liquid clen 2 days ago starting at 20mcg. Since then I have gained almost 5lb of water, I can see and feel the retention this sucks! I always drink a gallon of water and since being on clen I'm thirstier as ever but not peeing half as much as I would normally.

My diet is as follows

1. 5oz chicken, 1/3 cup of oats and 1 cup of broccoli, 3 fish oil

2. Protein shake 30g and handful of almonds

3. 5oz chicken, 1/3 cup of oats and 1 cup of broccoli, 3 fish oil

4. Protein shake

5. 5 oz Tuna, turkey burger or beef and vegetables, 1/3 cup of oats, 3 fish oil

6. Protein shake if I'm hungry

I take in about 1400 to 1500 calories a day almost always hitting 200g of protein, low carbs

As far as my effects with clen so far - first day at 20mcg had a little flushing, heart beat up a bit but good. 2nd day at 20 I really didn't feel the effects, maybe a little cramping and just holding onto a ton of water. Do 20 mins of light cardio a day and workout 4/5 times a week with heavy weights. Today is day 3 and I'm skeptical to even continue?

Anyone experience this water weight problem?

Your gaining prob due to protien.

Water wgt.? Not sure Have you had blood work done?

Your not taking anythin? Creatine?

List all your taking all supplements
 
Also keep an eye on your BP.

Get an over the counter water pill take it per the directions on the box.

And drink at least a gallon of water per day.
 
I'm 128 but now 133 from the water weight in 2 days.

I take optiwoman multi
Fish oil
Milk thistle
Glutamine
Optimum nutrition whey

I'm not taking creatine and my blood is normal - the above has been my diet for years give or take some calories for what my goal is and I've never held water like this since starting the clen. I guess it's not for me! Maybe ephedrine would be better
 
I have been craving salt the last week and I'm 2 weeks away from period. I do eat very clean though. I didn't take the taurine with the clen yet, I'm picking up some today I didn't think 2 days on that low of a dose would matter, but I wonder if that has anything to do with it
 
There could be something in the liquid that is causing the water retention vs the actual clen itself. I think it might be unusual to see that much retention from clen but everyone responds differently. The taurine is a good idea and I would recommend it but it is more for the muscle cramping and I would start it asap, as the cramping can get worse as you increase the dose. If clen is the only different thing in your routine, you can give it a few more days and see if your body adjusts or just stop the cycle.

I agree with Cali.... I think the best way to find out would be to stop the Clen and see if it goes away.

Are you having any of the regular Clen sides?
 
Thank you all for the advice :)

Today (day 3) seems better with the thirst and I took 20mcg again, not feeling crazy sides yet, I know I have to up the dose but I'm nervous lol. Took some taurine and feel better so I guess I should go up to 30mcg tomorrow and see how it goes
