I have posted this on my "home" board, but I thought everyone here might like to see - you have all been a great resource to me - and a BIG THANKS BROS!

It took me 5 years to loose 250 lbs. (yes 250). My waist was 60", colesterol was 385, I weighed 465 lbs. - I was a walking heart attack. (I will post my before and after pictures on the next two responses in this thread.) Now I weigh between 215 & 218 with 10% bf and have dropped my colesterol to 135. The AAS didn't seem to bother it.

AFTER loosing the weight, I did many, many months of AAS homework and completed my 1st cycle:

ldex - all the way
sust - 500mg/wk
EQ - 400mg/wk
Clomid at end

Everything worked just as you said it would - especially the vascularity from the EQ. No Gyno problems - anyway, for a 46 year old, do you think I did OK? (look at following pictures).:D

bro post the link.....sounds like u ha d a good time, were u taking anything for high BP at all?

Nothing for high BP - thank goodness mine didn't go "out of bounds" - my Dr. kept a close watch on it - her office is next door to me, and she monitored my progress daily. She has been so impressed, I guess because she is fresh out of residency and has an open mind.

Holy Christ thats amazing!

Dude, .... wow! You are tha f'ing "Most Improved" award winner of the month.

Kickass job man.

Now Bill Robverts will want your pics and want to claim that he did this all in 12 weeks of "Body for Life". LOL

Excellent work.........your determination was the deciding factor-I love it when someone does their homework! You are an inspiration to others!

Thanks for all the great input - your great words will help me stay motivated. Not feeling that great right now (Clomid you know) :p

Will keep plugging away in the gym, I try to grab those newbies at my gym that look like they need to loose at least 100 lbs. and take them "under my wing" - everyone needs some help to get started - I let them know their goal is not impossible.

my hat go's off to you bud, you are an example of pure dedication/motivation.

btw when you used the anabolics did you use them to bulk up or keep trimming? can you post your main diet with the anabolics

Thanks Georgie24!

I used the AAS to add lean muscle that I had greatly depreciated during the 5 years of strict food intake. By the way, I had no "surgery" or anything extreme to help - just a good regimet of low carbs, vitimans and good cycles of an ECA stack (3 weeks on, 1 week off).

By the end of the AAS, I had the owner of my gym do final measurements and I had gained a solid 18 pounds of pure muscle - no water retention (thank you Ldex!). I think what I like most about the AAS is the vascularity I gained from the EQ.

While on AAS, my diet consisted of both long and short acting proteins (Whey and Regular shakes and lean meat) at 400/grams/day. I kept the carbs to 250-300/g/day (only complex) and the fat at 70-100/g/day. Total caloric intake of about 4,000 cal. Whew - it was a lot of food.:D

To get all that in, I relied quite a bit on protein shakes - Optimum Nutrition Whey - I used 3 scoops per serving instead of 1 (this provided 60g protein each time). About 4 shakes per day, especially for recovery from gym, and within 30 minutes of post workout. Other times, Met-RX (especially before bed). I would drink a Met-RX 1 or 2 times during each night, usually around 1:00AM and 4:00AM.

Complex Carbs - Cracked Wheat, Bulger Wheat, Oatmeal, Sweet Potatos (many).

Sources of Protein - Whey, Met-RX, turkey breast, cod, salmon, very lean steak, boneless/skinless chicken breast (30lbs/week), Fat Free Milk (6 gal./week), egg beaters (10 pints/week).

Steamed Vegies (if I felt like it) - they don't have as much nutritional value as one might think - use to "keep things moving". Basically, I was sticking something in my stomach every 3 to 4 hours.

Other than AAS... Cytomel, Synthroid, Phosphogen (EAS), extra creatine, dextrose tabs (pre workout with creatine for a good delivery system), regular vitimans, RX potassium (40meq/day), and 1 IM B-12 shot per week.

Whew - hope I didn' t leave anything out. Hope this helps a little.;)

Great job, you should be proud.
