Hey guys, I actually don't use steroids but do have issues with prolactin. Ideally I am trying to figure out how to combat my prolactin levels. I've read through this forum front and back and have found that dopamine agonists are where I want to be as far as combating prolactin. But I do see that Cabergoline seems to be specifically made for combating prolactin.
I was prescribed requip and during my research I did find some little blips bout how in studies that requip did lower serum prolactin levels but there isn't much else mention of it. I do understand Mirapex aka pramipexole is very similar to requip but it does indeed lower prolactin.
Hoping someone can confirm if they've used reqiup to lower their prolactin levels or used it for gyno after taking steroids and if it worked or not.
I hear a lot of side effects but I started out with .25 yesterday 3 hours before bed and the only thing I can think of was that I did get a little sleepy. I also had insomnia but I think that was rebound insomnia from using my Ambien the other night. Otherwise no reported nausea or dizziness. I am hoping this will help my libido greatly.
