reocurring dreams-you get em?

ive had this one weird dream every night since i came home,and its really fucking up my system,im up at 5 every morning ,not being able to goto bed until 1-2 and then when i try to sleep after 5 this fucked up dream happens and i hardly eat all day ,its just fucked,i can barely finish a turkey sandwhich in one sitting


anybody else ever experience and of this shit,and what did you do

i only remember the worst parts ,im in a basement in a very old house i have never saw before yet all my families stuff is in it,and there is a weird thing going on with the basement that pulls people into it,involuntary and i got locked in and then all kinds of fucked up shit happened but i got out and my dad was still inside and i kept calling my mom for help but it was like she didnt hear me,then i was back inside with walls glowing and surronded by some fucked up almost monsters(i know it sounds dumb) and they are about to kill me and i wake up

its really fucked up,and normally shit like this doesnt sway me

I have recurring dreams where there are snakes everywhere I look- like out of an Indian Jones movie or something. I also dream of getting shot/shooting people.

I have one...

Black and white. I am walking up a slope to an old antebellum plantation house with white columns...apple orchard to the north and pears to the south.

The door opens and I enter..I approach a spiral staircase and notice that the walls are blue and yellow, as I approach the stairs I detect a hint of lavendar and jasmine in the air as well as a violin from upstairs....I follow the sound of the music and there is a door that is half closed, I open it to see the back of a nude woman. She is sitting as she plays and has long raven hair that is held in place by orange chop sticks.

I catch a glimpse of her face in an oval floor mirror....she sees me, smiles faintly, stops playing, stands and walks to the balcony wheres she dives into a still pool of water outside......

That is one of the best dream stories I have ever read. Still amazes me.

I have had a varation on it as well...

This was in New Orleans..

I'm walking down Bourbon Street with everyone else...I notice bubbles floating down from one of the balconies, which is no big deal that happens a lot..so I look up and see this woman in an ANTEBELLUM dress with white gloves....the people around me fade away and the neon signs slowly begin to fade and the only sign that remains is a sign that reads DESIRE in crimson letters which is just below her balcony(there is a DESIRE sign on Bourbon btw)....I look up and she drops an orange fan which she had been holding - 0one one side an intricate golden threaded hand stitched pattern...one the other is a couple in the midst of passion. I look back up and she is gone...just a string of purple beads where she was standing...slowly all the lights come back up and everyone else comes to life....then a tap on the shoulder....



and I wake up

The color orange represented death in the Godfather Trilogy, even though the 3rd was so awful it shouldn't be considered a part.

Oak, your dream may be a result of the stuff you're goin through now. I remember my house used to look strange as fuck to me when I was little. Maybe in your dream you are your age now, but are in the scary scenery of your childhood [the basement was by far the scariest of places for a kid]. Getting sucked in involuntarily may be the situation of your mom's illness, and since it involves you and your dad that is why he is there. The monster probably represent all the pressure you are going through at the time.

reserves in my mind is a big power trip,the work was easy and i was one of the best,i just was turned off of the army when all that bullshit happened and they wrote me up like 5 times for nothing saying i was giving attitude

its totally up to my unit if i stay or not and they liked me alot since i came in the top 3 on both previous courses,i gotta make a appointment with them soon,i was suppose to a week ago but i just needed time to sort my shit out,and hopefully they will hear me out and let me stay
