Remember the mother who drowned her children. Are there any updates on that story ?

I'm in Ireland so I would'nt get update's on too many stories from the USA. The story come's to mind because there's been a similar murder committed here today. A father stabbed his wife and children to death then tried committing suicide, failing unfortunetly.
So is there an up date on the story from the USA.

Last I heard she was seperated from the rest of the people in jail after being beat severly.

I'm glad he wasn't able to take the easy way out. Now he can face society and rot in jail. If he was in George W. Bush's Texas, he would be put to death.

ttlpk unfortuntly the average 'lifer' here in ireland spends 8 year's in jail. Yes 8 year's is the average time spent in jail here in Ireland for murder !. Life in Ireland is 14 year's MAX !. Go figure.

I wish all murderers would commit suicide at the scene. People think of it as the "easy" way out. Easy for whom?

I think it's the easy way out for society. There will be no lengthy, expensive trial. There will be no lengthy, expensive years in prison. There will be no lengthy, expensive appeals process for a death sentence.

He saves society the tax dollars. He saves the police an investigation. He dies - free of charge.

Some criminals are so inconsiderate.

ttlpkg, yep I'm willing to pay for justice as well, but 8 year's with a max of 14 year's is hard to swallow. Even a mutliple killing get concurrent prison term's, meaning that you serve the same time for 1 murder as for 2,3,4,5. You just don't get consecutive term's here.
Although I'm glad we don't have capital punishment, I do believe you should rot your ass off in prison.
