Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington and now Michigan all have medical marijuana programs and Masachusetts has actually decriminalized it.

Many more will succumb to logic and reasoning. It's only a matter of time

You obviously don't know how the process works like most issues you comment on so I'll educate you like most do here.

Once a state has determined that marijuana can be used medicinally, this is where caregivers come in to the picture. Caregivers are authorized growers who under state license, grow high quality marijuana to supply to the state regulated dispensaries that will eventually make its way to the patient.

This is just a small step in the direction of decriminalization then legalization of marijuana. By having licensed dispensaries, there will no need for such inferior products from cartels as they only care about quantity rather than quality. As more and more states move to this, the cartels will realize that the demand will decrease for such an inferior product. Does that mean they will quit? Definitely not. It could very well change the landscape from marijuana to another drug but that's not the point. The point is that marijuana is slowly becoming what it should be. A natural substance that is no where near as damaging as other legal substances.

i'm talking about legalizing marijuana WITHOUT legalizing growing and selling it.


That's like making alcohol legal, but making manufacturing it, illegal.
