i love listening to all the red sox fans talk shit in the beginning of the season when they are in first or when they beat the yanks in the reg season- they get so loud and talk so much smack. most of the yanks fans i know just kind of laugh because we all know what happens to the sox every single year.

I was talking about Soriano and Jeter getting hurt in the first inning...both hit by pitches on the hand because Pedro is a dirty bitch.
 
not for nothin but Pedro is just like Clemens and needs to own the inside of that plate to be effective- he was not trying to hurt anyone. And we all know that Soriano sits on top of the plate so getting hit shouldn't be a surprise. And the Yanks got the best retaliation we could have asked for- a sick perofmrance my Moose and the Win

damn right. I don't think pedro tried to hurt those guys. I'm sure he did try to move them off the plate though. The announcers on YES said that if Clemens would have been pitching Nomar would have got NAILED.

I agree...I don't think Pedro was trying to hurt anyone, but it hurts when you're talking about Soriano and Jeter. I wish Rocket was pitching...there may have been some major head hunting.

Yeah Pedro is a dirty fuck.... i really think he did it on purpose. Sure soriano and jeter are two of their best, but when Bernie and Nick are back.... hell ill break loose now that Giambi and Matsui are getting hot.

anyone remember Bobby Murcer?..he was the Yanks CF during thier losing years in the early 70s,when I lived in Jersey..been a Yanks fan since 70 or so..they do it all now,good farm system to supply players and provide players to trade,they make good free agent investments,and they make the good trades mid-season to address weaknesses and/or to strengthen their squad(e.g. Benitez)
